2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer, Platform role focuses on building and maintaining backend services critical to the organization’s operations, such as payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech, and external APIs. This position plays a key role in shaping backend architecture and ensuring scalability and reliability. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align backend systems with product strategy, contributing to user experience and enterprise client solutions. 3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public text-to-speech APIs and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking

• Manage and optimize backend API performance and maintainability

• Collaborate on B2B solutions with a focus on customization and integration for enterprise clients

• Work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience

4. Requirements:

• Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js (required)

• Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud providers

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on urgency and impact

• Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments

• Preferred: Experience deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The United States based salary range for this role is 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock, depending on experience

4. Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of relevant work experience

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams

• Growth mindset with agility and commitment to self and team development

• Skilled in planning, delivering, and supporting execution

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant specialized training/professional qualification

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The typical pay range for this role is $92,700.00 to $185,400.00 annually

• This range represents the base salary for the job grade; final offer depends on experience, education, location, and other factors

• The position is eligible for bonus, commission, or short-term incentive programs in addition to the base salary
