The organization operates fully remotely with a global team of approximately 200 professionals, including engineers and AI researchers with backgrounds in leading technology companies and academic institutions.

2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer, Platform plays a critical role in building and maintaining backend services that support payments, analytics, subscriptions, and text-to-speech functionalities. This position contributes to creating scalable and user-focused backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical architecture with product goals. The role suits individuals who are strategic, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are passionate about delivering excellent user experiences.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public text-to-speech and internal payment, subscription, authentication, and tracking APIs

• Manage the backend API ecosystem, optimizing performance and maintainability

• Collaborate on enterprise B2B solutions for customization and integration

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure backend architecture supports overall product strategy and user experience

4. Requirements:

• Proven experience in backend development using TypeScript and Node.js

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform; knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

• Ability to prioritize and implement solutions based on urgency and impact

• Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments

• Preferred proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The United States based salary range for this role is 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock, depending on experience
