2. About the Opportunity:
The Software Engineer II plays a crucial role in supporting global, high-traffic applications by developing and maintaining scalable and resilient software systems. This position contributes to system architecture, ensures best coding practices, and works with advanced technologies including AI to enhance overall platform performance.
3. Responsibilities:
• Design, write, and automate code for product development impacting millions of users
• Contribute to system architecture focused on performance, scalability, availability, security, and resilience
• Review code and collaborate across teams to maintain best practices
• Translate product specifications into reusable and maintainable components
• Debug complex production issues and manage escalations under pressure
• Develop automation tools to improve system efficiency and operational excellence
• Engage with cutting-edge technology stacks and expand AI expertise
4. Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of full stack development experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficient in Python, Java, TypeScript, and frameworks including Spring, Angular, and Flask
• Strong foundation in SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Cassandra
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming
• Excellent communication skills across technical and business stakeholders
• Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins) and AI code editors (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Hands-on experience with AI models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and LangGraph or similar technologies
• Familiarity with production load balancers and message queues
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• For US-based candidates, base salary ranges from $95,000 to $171,000 per year, determined by experience, skills, certifications, and location
• Compensation may include annual bonuses, equity awards, and participation in an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
