2. About the Opportunity:
The Software Engineer, Guest & Host will play a key role in developing backend systems that enhance customer support for the community of guests and hosts. This position contributes directly to critical initiatives involving conversational AI and automation platforms that support service scalability and efficiency. The role is central to improving customer experience by collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving success metrics such as customer satisfaction and resolution times.
3. Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain backend systems for conversational AI and automation platforms
• Automate provisioning for internal human and AI agents
• Collaborate with AI, machine learning, product, data science, and operations teams
• Support organization-wide initiatives by aligning team capabilities and integrating dependencies
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Conduct code and design reviews to maintain technical quality
• Optimize system availability, performance, and scalability
4. Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development focused on backend and service-oriented architectures
• Expertise in workflow optimization and scalable, flexible backend system design
• Strong technical skills in building resilient and efficient backend systems
• Effective collaboration and communication skills across teams
• Familiarity with agile development practices and system optimization
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Pay range $165,000—$180,000 USD
