About the Opportunity:
The organization provides a remote personal finance platform aimed at simplifying financial management for households. This role focuses on expanding the platform’s reach by leading technical initiatives that drive user acquisition, activation, and retention as part of the Growth team.
Responsibilities:
• Mentor engineers while contributing to roadmap initiatives.
• Lead technical execution for growth-focused projects.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, marketers, and data analysts to enhance user acquisition, onboarding, and retention.
• Design and implement systems for A/B testing and rapid experimentation.
• Analyze data and user behavior to guide technical decisions and optimize growth strategies.
• Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Manage technical debt alongside feature development to support sustainable growth.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience leading complex projects from feasibility through execution.
• Ability to balance immediate delivery with long-term architectural planning.
• Strong understanding of product experiences, supported by both quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks, experimentation infrastructure, and analytics.
• Ability to assess and act on the appropriate level of rigor for experiments.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Experience with consumer subscription or SAAS products (preferred).
• Fintech experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Segment or Amplitude (preferred).
• Experience with billing systems (preferred).
