2. About the Opportunity:
The Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition is responsible for managing and enhancing data collection processes that support AI model training. This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable, cost-effective data ingestion pipelines to provide high-quality datasets. The position contributes directly to advancing the organization''s AI capabilities and supporting the development of next-generation products.
3. Responsibilities:
• Identify and integrate new audio data sources into the ingestion pipeline
• Operate and improve cloud infrastructure for data ingestion using GCP and Terraform
• Collaborate with scientists to optimize data cost, quality, and throughput
• Work with AI team members and leadership to develop the dataset roadmap for future products
4. Requirements:
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in bash and Python scripting within Linux environments
• Experience with Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code, and at least one major cloud provider (preferably GCP)
• Familiarity with web crawlers and large-scale data workflows is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The United States base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$200,000 plus bonus and equity, depending on experience
