2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition is responsible for managing and enhancing data collection processes to support AI model training operations. This role focuses on acquiring and integrating large-scale audio datasets efficiently and cost-effectively. The position contributes directly to advancing the organization''s AI capabilities and supports the development of next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

3. Responsibilities:

• Identify and integrate new sources of audio data into the ingestion pipeline

• Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for data ingestion, primarily on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform

• Collaborate with AI scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and quality of data

• Work with AI team members and leadership to develop the dataset roadmap for future product development

4. Requirements:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field

• Five or more years of software development experience

• Proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments

• Experience with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts

• Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably Google Cloud Platform

• Familiarity with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• United States base salary range: $140,000 to $200,000 plus bonus and equity, depending on experience
