2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Test Automation Engineer plays a key role in ensuring product quality and reliability through automation. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and strategies that support continuous validation. The role contributes by improving testing efficiency, reducing manual efforts, and embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle. It is a high-impact position within a fast-growing organization, helping to shape testing practices and drive continuous improvement.
3. Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain automation test plans, test cases, and regression suites
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable automated test frameworks
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to implement end-to-end test strategies
• Identify, prioritize, and track defects to ensure timely resolution
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate product stability
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve system reliability
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
• Promote a culture of quality by setting standards, introducing best practices, and driving improvements
• Use metrics and data to measure and enhance product quality
4. Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of coding experience in product development and/or test automation
• Proficiency with modern testing tools and frameworks such as JavaScript, Cypress, and Playwright or similar technologies
• Experience leveraging AI to enhance test automation capabilities
• Proven ability to develop and scale test automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Skill in using data, metrics, and reporting to drive quality improvements
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer in Test or equivalent role
• Experience creating comprehensive test plans, writing test cases, and managing defects
• Strong attention to detail with a curious and exploratory mindset
• Effective collaboration skills working closely with engineering teams
