About the Opportunity:
The organization is developing infrastructure to create a more trustworthy internet by enabling verifiable digital services. The Staff Brand Designer will define and express the brand identity across all touchpoints, collaborating with marketing, product, and leadership to build a clear, emotionally resonant brand system. This is a new, full-time function with the option to work remotely or alongside a Seattle-based team.
Responsibilities:
• Define and evolve the organization’s visual identity in alignment with its mission
• Improve technology communication through strategic, aesthetically appealing visuals
• Articulate design concepts and decisions in collaboration with stakeholders
• Propose and develop ambitious and innovative design ideas for new initiatives
• Lead high-visibility design projects for social media, presentations, events, and physical goods
• Utilize the latest design tools and technologies to execute creative direction
• Work across mediums such as illustration, 3D, motion, photography, and video
• Own the brand system, including brand book, asset library, motion system, and web properties
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience creating design systems across communications, marketing, and web design
• Portfolio demonstrating skills in typography, illustration, motion, and data visualization
• Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Innovative design thinking for communication and marketing strategies
• Appreciation for aesthetics, user experience, and technology storytelling
• Ability to self-manage projects from concept to delivery
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into effective visual communication
Compensation:
• The target salary range for this role is $170k - $240k USD. The listed range reflects compensation for candidates located in U.S. Tier 1 markets and may vary depending on your location. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
