About the Opportunity:
This opportunity is for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a team focused on improving the pharmacy experience for patients by optimizing prescription processing, fulfillment, and supporting business growth through advanced automation and workflow solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage services handling prescription processing from intake to pharmacy fulfillment.
• Prepare prescriptions for fulfillment and delivery using automation and coordinated manual processes.
• Enable partners to configure billing, benefits, and clinical workflows for their needs.
• Increase intake automation by leveraging LLMs to parse unstructured prescription data.
• Integrate controlled substance dispensing history and risk scores into clinical safety workflows.
• Optimize drug selection to find patients the best price.
• Balance low inventory levels with high product availability.
• Establish foundations for an extensible inventory management platform.
• Mentor engineering team members and promote software development best practices.
• Solve complex technical problems at the intersection of healthcare and e-commerce.
• Contribute to building predictive systems.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in high volume, high throughput production environments.
• Experience with Backend or Full Stack technologies.
• Expertise in architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with experience building resilient systems.
• Proven technical best practices: code style, documentation, code review, bug fixing, and production issue mitigation.
• Experience with supply chain optimization systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in Rails, Python, and PostgreSQL (preferred).
• Experience building and integrating predictive ML models (preferred).
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and maintain a growth mindset.
• Strong sense of ownership and desire to mentor peers.
• Experience with service oriented architectures (preferred).
• Physical ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods, participate in meetings, and occasionally move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written methods.
• Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin.

Compensation:
• Salary Range: $172,000 to $215,000
• Commission Eligible: No
• Travel: No; required up to 0 percent of the time
