Senior Software Engineer (Cloud)

2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Software Engineer (Cloud) will play a key role in expanding and optimizing the company’s cloud platform. This position focuses on developing and maintaining infrastructure that supports massive-scale parallel computing across thousands of machines in multiple data centers worldwide. The role contributes directly to advancing cloud services that enable high-performance AI computation, impacting the future of technology.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure software primarily using Go

• Collaborate with managers and engineers to define and implement product requirements

• Troubleshoot and optimize code to enhance performance and reliability

• Participate in code reviews and uphold technical standards

• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years professional software development experience with Go

• Strong proficiency in Go and its ecosystem

• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Successful completion of a background check

Preferred:

• Experience in one or more of the following: C, Rust, Python, Javascript, Typescript

• Experience developing or deploying machine learning applications

• Familiarity with Python machine learning libraries or models

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Linux containers, Docker, VMs, or hypervisors

• Experience debugging Linux applications and kernel/driver issues

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The competitive base pay for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000, with actual pay determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
