Senior Software Engineer, Cash App Banking

2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Software Engineer, Cash App Banking will lead the technical design, development, and delivery of new banking capabilities. This role is essential to enhancing the organization's banking platform, ensuring robust and scalable systems that improve how customers store, manage, and move money. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive architectural improvements and build impactful banking experiences at scale.

3. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business leads to scope, plan, design, and build new banking features
• Lead and engage in technical, design, and product discussions within the team and with organizational leaders
• Design systems that integrate with microservice and event-driven architectures
• Maintain high engineering standards for self and teammates
• Coach and mentor team members to expand their technical skills
• Incorporate an AI-first approach in daily work to enhance AI application on the team

4. Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development or equivalent experience
• 1+ years leading large-scale feature delivery, managing projects with high quality and timely execution
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address system flaws
• Ability to design and build innovative solutions for complex problems
• Commitment to personal and professional growth as an engineer
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Zone A: $217,800-$326,800 USD
• Zone B: $207,000-$310,400 USD
• Zone C: $196,100-$294,100 USD
• Zone D: $185,200-$277,800 USD

The starting pay will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions, with potential future adjustments.
