2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet business needs and performance standards. This position contributes to the creation of secure, scalable, and maintainable applications, supports Agile teams in delivering customer commitments, and helps onboard and mentor junior engineers. The role also involves developing cloud infrastructure and integrating DevOps practices to accelerate product delivery.
3. Responsibilities:
• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs
• Utilize Java and Angular technologies to solve business problems
• Design, code, test, debug, and document software; enhance existing components
• Deploy and maintain applications/systems ensuring performance meets standards
• Collaborate with software engineers and Agile scrum teams to meet project goals
• Act as point of contact for training and onboarding new software engineers
• Contribute to design and architecture for secure, scalable, maintainable software
• Communicate design and architectural decisions to technology leadership
• Collaborate with team members, architects, and product owners across divisions
• Review infrastructure to ensure compliance with coding best practices, unit testing, security, scalability, and maintainability
• Foster a quality mindset and mentor junior developers
• Create cloud computing infrastructure and implement DevOps practices using GitHub/GitHub Actions and Terraform for CI/CD
4. Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 24 months of relevant experience in this role or a related engineering position
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Proficiency with GitHub
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Skills in data modeling with generic modeling tools
• Experience with data visualization tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau
• Familiarity with cloud-based data analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake
• Experience with Azure Databricks, ADF, and Azure AI Search
• Proficiency in Databricks, SQL, and Spark-based technologies
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• $106,579 - $195,174 per year
