About the Opportunity:
The organization provides AI-powered tools to help educators save time and improve learning outcomes, allowing the instant creation of rubrics, assignment modifications for reading levels, plagiarism detection, and more within LMS or Google Docs. This team is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Marketing—a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for building and executing product marketing from the ground up, defining positioning, running go-to-market launches, and managing part of the broader marketing team.
Responsibilities:
• Define and refine the organization’s value story for teacher and administrator audiences.
• Build differentiated messaging frameworks highlighting impact and competitive advantage.
• Ensure consistency and clarity across campaigns, website, and customer communications.
• Own go-to-market strategy and execution for all launches, aligning Product, Marketing, and Sales around clear goals and messaging.
• Shape roadmap priorities with Product to ensure successful launches.
• Collaborate across Marketing and customer-facing teams to implement launches on all channels.
• Optimize conversion, activation, and engagement metrics for measurable growth.
• Partner with Sales Enablement to incorporate product stories into sales materials, training, and internal communications.
• Lead adoption efforts in collaboration with Customer Success and Lifecycle Marketing.
• Lead research to gather insights about educator and administrator needs, integrating user feedback into launches.
• Analyze market trends, technologies, and competitors to guide product direction and messaging.
• Establish product marketing foundations, including launch templates and messaging playbooks.
• Manage and mentor marketing team members.
• Identify opportunities to expand and develop the product marketing function.
Requirements:
• 7–10 years of product marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or EdTech.
• Strong B2C experience; B2B experience is a plus.
• Proven track record managing end-to-end launches and positioning for multiple audiences.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills.
• Experience managing team members.
• Ability to lead cross-functional workstreams.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for improving education and supporting teachers through technology.
