2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior AI Data Scientist role is focused on designing and delivering AI-driven decision support systems that enhance organizational understanding and action. The position involves building and maintaining production-ready AI services, applying foundation models, and architecting agentic AI systems to create intelligent workplace tools. This role is critical for advancing AI capabilities from concept through production, enabling leaders to ask better questions and take better actions based on data-driven insights.
3. Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver AI advisors and analytic agents that reason over organizational data and knowledge.
• Build and maintain production-quality Python services powering AI applications.
• Apply and fine-tune foundation models to create reliable and explainable AI experiences.
• Architect agentic AI systems coordinating reasoning, planning, and tool use.
• Design and evolve retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and knowledge-based approaches.
• Develop and test prompting strategies and agent behaviors to optimize accuracy and trust.
• Enable conversational analytics for natural language data exploration and insight generation.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to scale AI features.
• Stay updated on generative and agentic AI trends and implement practical innovations.
• Communicate AI concepts and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. Requirements:
• 5+ years in applied AI, data science, or machine learning with hands-on generative AI experience.
• Strong Python skills in building AI-driven production services.
• Experience with large language model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Gemini.
• Expertise in prompt engineering for complex multi-step reasoning.
• Knowledge of agentic AI concepts including multi-agent coordination and planning.
• Experience designing and implementing retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks like CrewAI, LangChain, or Autogen.
• Proven ability to deliver production-quality AI solutions with testing and monitoring.
• Effective communication skills to explain AI behavior and limitations.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, early-stage problem spaces with strong ownership.
Preferred:
• Experience integrating AI into SaaS or enterprise decision-support products.
• Skills with MCP servers, vector databases, and semantic search technologies.
• Background in HR Tech, employee experience, or organizational analytics.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized deployment.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary range of $175,000 to $195,000 annually based on experience.
• Eligibility for company bonus.
