The Research / Data Scientist will lead a high-profile retrospective analysis project in partnership with a premier medical institution. This role is central to defining the analytical foundation that demonstrates the organization’s success to health systems. The position requires translating complex clinical data into actionable insights that drive operational, clinical, and financial impact. It offers an early, high-impact opportunity with direct collaboration with clinical advisors.

3. Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end retrospective analyses including cohort definition, feature construction, and predictive modeling using clinical datasets

• Collaborate closely with surgeon advisors to validate assumptions and ensure clinical relevance

• Translate statistical results into clear visual narratives and presentations that communicate clinical, operational, and financial outcomes

4. Requirements:

• Strong background in applied machine learning and statistics, including Python, SQL, and survival analysis

• Hands-on experience with healthcare data such as EHRs or claims

• Pragmatic and fast-moving executor focused on actionable insights and real-world results

• Exceptional communication skills to engage clinical stakeholders and translate research into strategy
