2. About the Opportunity:
The Project Manager, Operations leads multiple operational-level projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating internal and client-facing projects to ensure timely, on-scope, and high-quality results. The position requires managing diverse priorities and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication, and adapting to a remote work environment. Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in dental or vision benefits, enhances effectiveness and impact in this role.
3. Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple internal and client-facing operational projects concurrently
• Define project scope including people, processes, and technology
• Develop comprehensive project plans using standardized methodologies
• Ensure understanding and follow-through of deliverables throughout all project phases
• Analyze business requirements to guide design and implementation of technical solutions
• Identify and suggest system and process improvements for efficiency
• Coordinate communication and priorities within project teams and across departments
• Delegate tasks and monitor completion by project team members
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal staff, clients, and vendors
• Track project progress and provide status updates to stakeholders
• Assist in developing and implementing contingency plans
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience and/or PMP certification
• 3 to 5 years of project management experience
• Knowledge of common project management tools
• Ability to plan for contingencies and anticipate challenges
• Strong listening skills and customer responsiveness
• Effective communication and information exchange abilities
• Relationship-building skills to address issues and obstacles
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to stay organized despite interruptions
Preferred:
• PMI Certification
• Experience in the health insurance industry
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Compensation Range: $69,899 to $104,849
• Compensation Midpoint: $87,374
