2. About the Opportunity:
The Product Manager, AI Platform will lead the development and strategy of the platform that powers code creation, testing, previewing, and deployment within the organization''s AI-driven Make product. This role is critical to transforming the platform from a prototype environment into a reliable foundation for building and shipping production-ready products. The position involves collaboration across engineering, design, and other teams to shape AI-first product development and enable a unified environment where developers, non-technical users, and AI agents work together effectively.
3. Responsibilities:
• Define and lead the developer platform strategy for code generation, editing, previewing, publishing, and integration with production-scale codebases
• Develop and execute strategies for AI agent infrastructure and evaluation systems within the platform
• Translate AI agent roadmaps into scalable, reliable, and extensible platform requirements
• Lead complex technical decisions related to code generation, execution environments, workflows, and deployment systems
• Balance rapid feature development with long-term platform stability and performance
• Engage with developers and technical customers to incorporate their needs into the platform strategy
• Deliver new platform capabilities that unlock product features and support general availability milestones
4. Requirements:
• 7+ years of product management experience with highly technical products
• Proven track record of shipping developer tools, infrastructure, or AI-powered systems
• Strong technical knowledge to engage deeply with engineering on architecture and system design
• Systems thinking with the ability to improve complex component interactions
• Experience driving strategy and execution in fast-moving, ambiguous product areas
• Preferred but not required:
– Experience in web-based applications or developer platforms
– Background in AI agent systems, code generation tools, or programmable interfaces
– Personal experience building and deploying web products
– Familiarity with frontend frameworks, deployment pipelines, or cloud infrastructure
– Experience scaling platform capabilities across multiple teams
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Annual base salary range: $169,000—$303,000 USD
• Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, impact, role scope, market demands, and work location
• Pay range for remote roles is adjusted based on employee location between 80% and 100% of listed range
