2. About the Opportunity:
The Principal Technical Program Manager will lead high-impact engineering projects with financial customers in capital markets. This role involves identifying key customer scenarios, orchestrating engineering efforts, and managing end-to-end user stories, acting as a Product Owner. Working closely with a cross-functional team, the position drives collaborative innovation to build cloud-based solutions that transform customer missions. The role contributes significantly to solving complex business challenges and advancing technological adoption in financial services.
3. Responsibilities:
• Partner with software engineers, data scientists, designers, and subject matter experts to design complex technical solutions
• Provide data-driven recommendations to key stakeholders based on risk assessments
• Define success criteria and manage implementation across multiple feature areas in complex, cross-functional projects
• Coordinate alignment across business units and deliver on roadmaps for multiple feature groups
• Track project schedules and lead development of staging, implementation plans, and governance programs
• Drive continuous improvement by validating use cases and authoring test cases
• Provide expertise to collect performance metrics, lead customer support, and manage direct customer engagements
• Embody and promote the culture and values of the organization
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 6 years of experience in engineering, technical program management, data analysis, or product development, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
• Experience complying with strict insider trading and information-barrier regulations relevant to investment banking clients
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of experience in relevant fields
• Preferred: 8+ years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
• Preferred: At least 1 year experience reading or writing code (e.g., documentation, demos)
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year
• In specific locations such as the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year
