About the Opportunity:
The organization is a global leader in cybersecurity, delivering advanced AI-native platform solutions to protect people, processes, and technologies. The Sensor Security Platform team develops foundational security capabilities for an endpoint sensor deployed on over 50 million devices worldwide. This principal engineer role focuses on defining and expanding endpoint AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance security outcomes with minimal system impact.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to define next generation endpoint AI framework capabilities.
• Lead the development, architecture, and technology direction of a cross platform model delivery framework.
• Design model interfaces for interaction with endpoint sensors across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Define and optimize resource utilization for deploying AI-powered security while maintaining a lightweight footprint.
• Develop testing strategies for efficacy, regression, and performance, ensuring repeatability with runtime data.
• Guide expansion of hardware acceleration for AI in endpoint protection.
• Support and mentor a team to implement and operate these tools.
Requirements:
• Experience developing and delivering machine learning and AI models.
• Familiarity with AI platform technologies such as ONNX, OpenVino, or similar.
• Background working with runtime data in high performance environments.
• Experience with AI hardware acceleration using NPU or GPU.
• Proficient endpoint development on Windows, Linux, or macOS; Windows and kernel development preferred.
• Strong C/C++ systems-level programming skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of end-to-end ownership of technical solutions.
• Demonstrated engineering technology leadership.
• Security industry experience is a plus, but not required.
