2. About the Opportunity:
The Partnership Program Manager will lead the creation and management of the partnership program from inception. This role is responsible for evaluating integration opportunities, managing partner relationships, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to deliver scalable integration solutions. The position plays a critical role in enabling the organization to expand its integration ecosystem, increase marketability, and support customer needs through strategic partnerships.
3. Responsibilities:
• Lead scoping calls with customers and prospects to understand workflows, requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Review partner API documentation and collaborate with Engineering to assess feasibility, effort, risks, and dependencies
• Determine the strategic viability of customer-sourced integrations for development and support
• Pursue formal partnership agreements with vendors when appropriate
• Align scope and secure formal agreements through statements of work (SOW)
• Coordinate delivery and testing with Engineering and customers
• Develop and manage a formal inbound partner intake process
• Define and maintain criteria for official partner status
• Lead partnership formation, documenting agreements and expectations
• Manage ongoing partner relationships, including profiles and engagement history in PRM or CRM systems
• Ensure partners have the necessary resources and support for integration testing
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of partnerships and integrations
• Identify strategic integration opportunities to enhance marketability, retention, and revenue
• Validate market demand and recruit design partners or test customers
• Coordinate testing for strategic integrations by engaging customers in testing efforts
• Manage feasibility, partnership formation, sandbox access, delivery, and testing for strategic integrations
• Ensure long-term supportability of integrations with clear ownership and documentation
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to package, enable, and launch integrations to customers
• Create enablement materials including positioning, one-pagers, FAQs, qualification guidance, and internal playbooks
• Track partner-influenced pipeline and metrics, iterating on results
• Provide structured, proactive updates to stakeholders with clear status, risks, decisions, and next steps
4. Requirements:
• 3 to 7+ years of experience in partnerships, partner programs, ecosystem/channel management, alliances, or technical account management involving complex stakeholder coordination
• Strong understanding of integration and APIs to review technical documentation and assess feasibility with Engineering
• Experience documenting and negotiating contract terms and managing scopes of work
• Proven ability to collaborate with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market enablement, campaigns, and co-selling
• Excellent written communication skills for clear and structured updates
• Strong operational skills in tracking timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and financial terms across multiple partners
• Expertise in stakeholder coordination and working across cross-functional teams with accountability
• Proactive problem-solving approach to anticipate issues, clarify ambiguity, and remove blockers
• Proficiency with modern productivity tools and enthusiasm for using AI and software to improve efficiency
