About the Opportunity
The Manager - Data Science leads an international team of data scientists and machine learning practitioners. The role is responsible for developing and deploying AI and machine learning models that support key business areas such as Asset Management, Work Management, and Business Process Optimization. This position ensures the delivery of scalable, production-grade solutions embedded in digital products, contributing directly to operational efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities
Lead the development, evaluation, and deployment of AI/ML models and generative AI solutions.
Collaborate with leadership to align data science initiatives with business needs and digital roadmaps.
Ensure models meet quality standards, are production-ready, and benchmarked effectively.
Train and guide team members in best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and responsible AI.
Promote the digital and innovation vision to support modernization and process improvements.
Requirements
Experience managing international teams in data science, machine learning, or applied AI.
Familiarity with the nuclear and energy industries.
Knowledge of model development, experimentation frameworks, MLOps, and third-party AI/ML platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science, data science, industrial engineering, statistics, or equivalent.
Over 10 years of experience in business, operations, or consultation services with increasing responsibility.
Microsoft certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Database Administrator Associate are advantageous.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The base salary range is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000 per year, dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills.
