2. About the Opportunity:
The IT Project Manager will lead IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role serves as a key client contact and drives coordination among technical teams and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. The position plays a critical role in maintaining service quality and client satisfaction through effective project oversight.
3. Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Serve as primary liaison for client communications throughout project lifecycle
• Oversee technical resources to ensure project tasks align with plans
• Maintain accurate project documentation including plans, schedules, budgets, and change orders
• Identify, monitor, and manage potential risks
• Control project scope through formal change management processes
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular project updates
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and clear communication
• Evaluate and provide feedback on non-technical project hour estimates
• Conduct post-project evaluations to support continuous improvement
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience in a Managed Service Provider environment
• Experience working directly with clients, vendors, and internal technical teams in a fast-paced setting
• Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously with cross-functional teams
• PMP certification preferred or other relevant project management credentials
• Strong knowledge of IT principles, infrastructure, and managed services
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
• Experience with PSA and project management tools such as ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Asana, or Microsoft Project
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary Range: $90,000–$110,000 per year
• Quarterly bonus eligibility to reward performance
