2. About the Opportunity:
The Data Scientist role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights through advanced analytics and machine learning techniques. This position is responsible for developing and deploying marketing ML models using customer data, managing end-to-end projects, and collaborating with engineering teams to productionize solutions. The role is essential in improving AI-driven products that generate revenue and requires creating scalable data pipelines, automating processes, and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
3. Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement analytics applications using data-oriented programming languages and visualization tools.
• Build and evaluate marketing machine learning models utilizing first and third-party customer data.
• Manage projects covering analysis design, execution, and result summarization.
• Develop scalable data pipelines for feature extraction using cloud services.
• Identify, clean, analyze, and summarize data from complex sources to support high-quality analyses.
• Prototype and implement advanced solutions to improve ML model performance.
• Document research plans, results, and conclusions clearly.
• Present research findings and recommendations to audiences with varying expertise.
• Collaborate with data engineering and operations teams to productionize work.
• Automate recurring analyses and model-building activities to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in planning, roadmap, and architecture discussions to evolve AI processes.
4. Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a computer-related occupation.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Java, Python, Shell Scripting, PySpark, or SAS SQL.
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Skills in data visualization and business intelligence tools including Tableau, AWS QuickSight, JavaScript, matplotlib, and seaborn.
• Knowledge of big data analytics platforms such as Pentaho, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Hadoop.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud computing services including S3, RDS, SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, or Athena.
• Understanding of machine learning modeling techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Strong foundation in probability and statistics.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Competence in version control systems like Jenkins or Git.
• Skills in data exploration and visualization.
• Ability to work fully remotely.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary: $128,596.52 per year.
• Compensation package may include bonus, commission, or incentive programs.
