Full-Stack Software Engineer (AI-Enhanced Development)

2. About the Opportunity:

The Full-Stack Software Engineer (AI-Enhanced Development) role focuses on leveraging AI-assisted workflows to prototype, develop, and test software solutions efficiently. This position supports the development of scalable, secure, and maintainable applications, contributing to the organization's digital transformation initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with teams and clients to deliver high-quality software and drive innovation through AI-enhanced practices.

3. Responsibilities:

• Rapidly prototype, develop, and test software using AI-assisted tools
• Implement performance, scalability, and security measures across application architecture
• Integrate databases such as Entity Framework, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Apply architectural and design patterns appropriately
• Utilize automated build processes, unit testing, and source code version control
• Employ software development practices including TDD, pair programming, and XP
• Work across multiple platforms including Linux, Mac OS, and Windows
• Produce clear documentation with minimal errors
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Support occasional travel for projects or training

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional full-stack software development experience
• Proven use of AI code assistants (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude)
• Strong engineering fundamentals focused on code quality and maintainability
• Experience with database integration and application architecture security
• Knowledge of design patterns and software development workflows
• Familiarity with continuous integration, testing, and version control tools
• Experience with multiple operating systems
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%)
• Preferred: experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular) and backend languages/frameworks (Java/Kotlin, C#/.Net)
• Preferred: proficiency with Windsurf IDE and other AI code assistant platforms
• Preferred: mentoring experience and contributions to open-source or technical publications

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The base pay range for this position is $114,800 to $172,200 annually, varying by factors such as location, experience, and performance
• Some positions may be eligible for variable incentive compensation like bonuses or commissions
