About the Opportunity:
The Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is essential to the CEO’s success, providing advanced administrative support and partnership. This role requires anticipating needs, managing complex logistics, and enabling the CEO to focus on advancing the organization’s mission. The position involves managing schedules, communications, operational details, complex partnerships, thought leadership content, and representing the organization in various public engagements.
Responsibilities:
• Manage complex calendars, balancing meetings, events, and essential work time
• Serve as primary communication gateway, handling correspondence and appointments with discretion
• Represent the organization and CEO in communications when appropriate
• Act as liaison between CEO and internal/external partners, including board members and major donors
• Facilitate relationship management with CEO’s direct reports and senior administrators
• Coordinate and prepare for high-profile speaking engagements, including researching opportunities, managing logistics, and preparing materials
• Support media interactions by preparing talking points, scheduling interviews, and managing logistics
• Plan and execute domestic and international travel arrangements
• Coordinate internal and external meetings such as fundraising events, strategy sessions, retreats, and regional events
• Manage and process expense reports with accuracy and timely submission
• Prepare and reconcile monthly expense reports, monitor financial records, and flag variances
• Complete detailed expense reporting including receipt gathering and system data input
• Develop and implement efficient documentation and administrative systems
• Provide detailed meeting support including notetaking and follow-up
• Assist with special projects advancing strategic goals
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an executive assistant or high-level administrator
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Proficiency with technology and emerging work tools
• Strong alignment with the organization’s mission and Christian values
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced planning and time management abilities
• Proficiency in office management systems and business procedures
• Advanced skills in calendar and communication applications
• Emerging knowledge of AI tools to improve workflow efficiency
• Proactive, self-motivated with exceptional initiative
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic environment
• Highly trustworthy handling sensitive and confidential information

Compensation:
• Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000
