Engineering Program Manager

The organization operates within the beverage industry, managing multiple manufacturing sites focused on non-carbonated soft drinks and food products. It addresses the challenges of manufacturing efficiency and equipment optimization across a network of 6-8 manufacturing locations. The organization works to enhance productivity, value, and growth by developing and executing manufacturing engineering strategies tied to capital projects.

2. About the Opportunity:

The Engineering Program Manager role is responsible for driving the development and execution of manufacturing engineering capital projects across multiple sites. The position aims to optimize manufacturing equipment and support devices to improve capacity and program initiatives, directly impacting operational productivity and growth. This role involves managing key relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

3. Responsibilities:

• Lead capital project design, development, and execution from concept through closure, including vertical startups.
• Define performance criteria, develop timelines, estimate capital budgets, and manage spending.
• Make data-driven decisions critical to project success.
• Identify and implement cost savings programs to support productivity metrics.
• Apply lean and standard work principles for equipment management and startups.
• Build strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and external equipment suppliers.
• Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at various organizational levels.

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of capital engineering project experience.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $100,000 to $25 million.
• PMP certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Knowledge of technologies including CSD, Juices and Teas, Aseptic manufacturing equipment such as Fillers, Cappers, Conveyance systems, Packers, Palletizers, Control Systems, RO, and Batch/CIP systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% for overnight trips.
• Capability to work independently in a fully remote capacity.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary Range: $96,800 to $150,000.
• Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
