Ecommerce Product Designer

About the Opportunity:

The organization is a global pharmaceutical solutions provider focused on improving the lives of people and animals by connecting manufacturers, providers, and patients to essential therapies. This opportunity is for an experienced eCommerce Product Designer responsible for developing and optimizing digital product experiences and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Create user experiences optimized for multiple platforms

• Define product requirements through collaborative brainstorming and prototyping with partner teams

• Translate user needs into product strategies and digital experiences

• Build and test innovative ideas to improve user experiences

• Translate complex business requirements into workflows, wireframes, and intuitive user interfaces

• Collaborate with designers, researchers, product owners, product specialists, and engineers

• Create, maintain, and utilize design systems, journey maps, personas, and workflows

• Conduct user research and testing, and present findings

• Contribute to the advancement and improvement of products

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience

• Three or more years of experience in digital product design for web and mobile platforms

• Strong skills in product design strategy, user research, personas, customer journeys, design thinking, ideation, sketching, prototyping, and concept validation

• Prior eCommerce Product Design experience highly desired

• Experience creating accessible user interfaces and familiarity with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA Standards (preferred, not required)

• Experience with design systems

• Experience conducting user research and analyzing findings

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web languages

• Strong presentation, communication, documentation, and organizational skills

• Portfolio of work samples required

• Ability to influence product and engineering leaders

• Skilled communicator with diverse audiences

• Proactive self-starter with strong prioritization skills

• Analytical and creative mindset

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
