About the Opportunity:
The organization partners with universities to deliver industry-focused certificate courses designed for professionals in a digital-first workforce. This opportunity involves joining a data team to scale analytics capabilities and shape the data culture across multiple business areas.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain clean, reliable, and scalable datasets in SQL (BigQuery) and Python (DBT).
• Develop predictive models, analytical frameworks, and A/B tests to inform strategy.
• Deliver dashboards and reporting to provide clarity on performance and KPIs.
• Translate complex analyses into actionable insights for leadership and teams.
• Promote best practices in experimentation, data governance, and BI processes; mentor colleagues.
Requirements:
• 3-4 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related field.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience building scalable data models (ETL infrastructure).
• Proficiency with Python for analysis, modeling, and experimentation.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
• Strong data storytelling and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen related to revenue, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
• Self-starter comfortable working in ambiguity.
• Bonus: Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), marketing analytics, funnel optimization, product analytics, previous startup experience, and predictive modeling in Python.

Compensation:
• The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $145,000 USD annually for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area (virtual home base).
• Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skills, location, experience, and qualifications.
