It addresses complex challenges related to market risk, pricing dynamics, liquidity, valuation, and capital allocation by applying advanced analytics, econometrics, and AI. The organization is developing an Advisory Intelligence capability to generate actionable insights that support decision-making in this domain.

2. About the Opportunity:

The Data Scientist will contribute to building advanced analytical and AI-driven solutions that tackle complex problems at the intersection of real estate markets, investment behavior, and socio-economic factors. This role focuses on exploratory analysis through developing proof-of-concept models and experimenting with econometric, machine learning, and emerging AI methods. The position plays a key role in shaping how advisory insights are created and delivered, directly impacting investment and advisory strategies.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop and test statistical and econometric models analyzing market behavior, pricing, risk, and investment conditions

• Apply advanced techniques including time-series, panel data, probabilistic methods, and clustering

• Evaluate model assumptions and support scenario and stress testing for advisory use

• Build and assess machine learning and AI proof-of-concepts for commercial real estate problems

• Experiment with generative AI, large language models, and agentic AI to enhance research and analysis

• Integrate socio-economic and demographic indicators into market and submarket analyses

• Conduct spatial and place-based analysis to contextualize asset and market performance

• Perform targeted data collection, cleaning, and integration for proof-of-concept development

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to support scaling of successful models

• Document analytical methods, assumptions, and results to ensure knowledge transfer

• Translate quantitative findings into clear insights for senior advisors and leadership

• Work closely with advisory, product, and research teams to refine problem statements and analytical approaches

4. Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field

• 1–3 years of experience in consulting, investment finance, or commercial real estate advisory/research

• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling

• Solid foundation in statistical modeling and quantitative reasoning

• Experience with econometric or advanced statistical techniques beyond basic regression

• Intellectual curiosity and ability to work in ambiguous, uncertain problem spaces

• Comfortable moving between theoretical concepts and practical application

• Exposure to commercial real estate, investment analysis, or market research workflows preferred

• Familiarity with Databricks or similar analytical platforms preferred

• Experience with socio-economic or macroeconomic datasets preferred

• Knowledge of machine learning, generative AI, or large language model applications preferred

• Hands-on experience with agentic AI or autonomous analytical workflows preferred

• Experience developing proofs of concept rather than only production systems preferred

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries preferred

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
