2. About the Opportunity:
The Data Scientist II role involves developing and promoting best practices for instrumentation and experimentation to enhance product development. This position applies scientific rigor and statistical methods to improve the product by understanding user behavior and building scalable analysis pipelines. The role requires cross-functional collaboration to generate and communicate insights that drive the creation of new user experiences.
3. Responsibilities:
• Develop instrumentation and experimentation best practices for product teams
• Apply statistical and scientific methods to product creation and improvement
• Build and prototype analysis pipelines to provide scalable insights
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of data structures and metrics
• Advocate for data-driven changes to support product development
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers
• Communicate key insights across teams
4. Requirements:
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer & Information Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field
• At least one year of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with machine learning, A/B testing, and data analytics
• Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebook, and Git
• Skills in data visualization, supervised and unsupervised learning
• Experience in data pipelining, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning
• Suitable combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary range: $180,250.00 to $235,319.00 per annum
