About the Opportunity:
The Data Analyst will support the organization by analyzing and interpreting historical and current data to identify business trends and anomalies, preparing recommendations to improve performance and prevent operational disruptions. The role involves developing queries, dashboards, and ad hoc reports to provide leaders with insights into business trends and root causes.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with management teams across functions to automate and streamline reporting and analytics
• Analyze data sets to identify insights, patterns, and trends and communicate optimization opportunities
• Perform advanced analytics and extract data from multiple sources including Customer Service, Workforce Management, Contact Management, Policy, and Claims to create integrated reports
• Collect, analyze, and report management data to support operational decisions, strategic planning, and performance issues
• Collate, model, interpret, and analyze data; use data visualization to explain variances and trends
• Analyze historical operations and market data; develop models to predict future trends
• Use analytical software tools to clean and integrate large data sets
• Support management by addressing questions, providing individual support, and escalating incidents as needed
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on analyses and data development for leadership
• Share ongoing work with teammates through documentation, demonstration, and training
• Gather feedback from team leaders and internal customers on processes and data usage
• Apply feedback to improve analysis and reporting delivery
• Manage projects ranging from simple to complex
Additional Responsibilities:
• Partner with stakeholder teams across business units (sales, operations, implementation, technology, PMO, marketing) to collaboratively develop analyses and documentation
• Continuously evaluate, analyze, and communicate system requirements; maintain system processes including monthly status reports
• Author and update internal and external documentation; formally deliver requirements and documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
• Experience in analytics and systems development
• Proficiency in database management
• Experience generating process documentation and reports
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Visio
• Project management skills
• Track record of developing innovative and impactful system solutions
• Extensive experience with data visualization
• Proficient technical writing skills
