About the Role

You will join a cross-functional development team consisting of Frontend, Backend, SRE, and QA specialists. While we have several verticals, your specific team will be determined during the interview process based on your strengths and our business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Design: Build scalable APIs and tools with a focus on performance and long-term maintainability.
• Take Ownership: Lead the development of features and small-to-mid-sized projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate: Partner with stakeholders to provide technical insights that improve our product and user experience.
• Maintain Excellence: Perform code reviews, contribute to our shared codebase, and debug production issues.
• Innovate: Participate in async non-team activities like RFC discussions and support rotations.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a Backend Engineer focusing on Elixir.
• Track record of shipping and maintaining complex software projects.
• Strong proficiency with Postgres (or similar relational databases).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, etc.).

Required Skills

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Docker & Kubernetes.

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive salary ($80,000—$120,000 USD, depending on location/level), stock options, home office budget, and unlimited flexible PTO.
