Mid-Level UX Designer
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Mid-Level UX Designer to join our growing product design community. The ideal candidate will own end-to-end design projects while collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and impactful user experiences. You’ll be responsible for balancing user needs with business objectives, running user research, and developing design systems—all while helping to mentor junior designers and strengthen design culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UX design process for assigned features and product areas from concept through implementation.
- Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design principles.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Contribute to and maintain the design system and reusable components.
- Present design solutions to leadership and stakeholders, articulating design rationale clearly.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior UX designers.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proven track record leading design projects in agile environments.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (InVision, Principle, Framer).
- Solid understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design methodologies.
- Experience with user research methodologies and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and development constraints.
- Experience with component-based design and maintaining design systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
