Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with proven Snowflake expertise to build advanced machine learning models and statistical analyses that power decision-making across the business. This role will see you exploring large-scale datasets, collaborating with engineers, and delivering production-ready ML solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Access and query large-scale data using Snowflake
• Build and validate predictive models and statistical analyses
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and experiment design
• Partner with engineers to deploy and monitor ML models in production
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights
• Translate complex data findings into business recommendations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist in contract/freelance engagements
• Strong SQL and hands-on Snowflake expertise (querying, optimization, UDFs, external functions)
• Proficiency in Python or R with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and experiment design (A/B testing)
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present to non-technical stakeholders

Desirable

• Familiarity with Snowpark for advanced data workloads
• Experience integrating Snowflake with BI/ML tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Dataiku, SageMaker)
• Understanding of MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, CI/CD pipelines for ML models)
