Overview
We’re seeking a versatile Content Manager to lead and execute our content and digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms and multiple brands. This role is perfect for a highly organized marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly blend content creation with data-driven decision-making. From crafting compelling content for our digital channels and print media and executing digital marketing campaigns, you'll play a key role in growing brand awareness, engaging with our target audience and gaining new listings and agents. Key Responsibilities
Content
- Develop, edit and maintain the company’s multi-channel content calendar (email, blog, social media, web, events, thought leadership pieces).
- Uphold brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency across all materials.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Utilize AI tools to generate, test, and repurpose content efficiently
- Research competitors, industry and market trends and use to craft compelling content ideas that will resonate with our audience
- Build relationships with local news outlets, write press releases, submit to news contacts, and promote press
Digital Marketing: SEO, SEM, Email, Social Media, & Website
- Maintain and regularly update the company websites
- Execute SEO strategy by leveraging keyword tools and using SEO best practices for content writing to increase organic rankings for REMAX Bayshore. Review and optimize SEO strategy with Luxury Presence.
- Own and execute content on platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google my Business, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Coordinate paid social and LSA (Local Services Ads) placements
- Develop and segment customer lists in CRM based on target audience
- Design and execute emails and automated workflows based on campaign strategy
- A/B test messaging and CTAs, measure engagement and open rates and optimize
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns using analytics dashboards
- Utilize tools to increase efficiency including Ahrefs, AI agents, Later, Predis, Flodesk, etc.
Media Production & Coordination
- Develop video shot lists and scripts using InVideo and MilaNote
- Coordinate video and photo shoots for marketing campaigns with video team
- Be the liaison between the marketing and leadership team for gathering feedback from the leadership and delivering to the video team
- Be the point person for reviewing video team edits in Wipster and approving to ensure timely execution for campaign deadlines
- Maintain production schedules through Mondays project management platform
Sales Collateral & Agent Marketing Support
- Manage the Graphic Designer in the creation, distribution, and updates of all branded sales collateral (buyer/seller guides, recruiting packets, agent pitch decks)
- Maintain a digital asset library and ensure all materials are accessible and organized
- Maintain templates built in Canva Pro Magic
Events
- Work with Graphic Designer and Video team on event assets including invitations, signage, swag, promotional video, event recap video, photos, etc.
- Build and manage invitation lists using the CRM
- Execute invitation distribution via email platforms such as Flodesk
- Work with Operations team to support overall event logistics
- Provide day-of event support (if local to Traverse City)
Additional Brand Support for Hotel and Short-term Rental
- Develop and manage a simple social calendar for a hotel and short-term rental
- Coordinate photo and video needs for social content
- Create and post engaging content on Instagram, Facebook and GMB accounts
Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in content marketing
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong social media skills with a knack for staying ahead of trends
- Proven experience managing multi-channel content (web, social, blog, email, video)
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices
- Familiarity with media production and coordinating photo/video shoots
- Sharp creative eye and ability to uphold brand aesthetic
- PR experience and media relationships a plus
- Skilled in building and maintaining a content calendar or editorial roadmap
- Ability to plan, execute, and report on marketing campaigns aligned with business goals
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with team, agents, and vendors
- Experience utilizing AI tools like Jasper, Copy.Ai, Real Estate Content AI, Presis AI, Synthesia, InVideo, Descript, Canva Pro etc.
