About this role

This is a founding role, and one of the most important ones we will make this year.

You will own how Refold AI looks, feels, and shows up everywhere. We are defining a new category, and categories are won on story as much as substance. You are not here to decorate slides. You are here to build the brand from the ground up and turn a technical, complex product into a story people instantly get and want to be part of. Every surface (our site, decks, social, launches, events, product) will carry your fingerprint. If you have wanted to define a company's visual identity from zero and watch it become how the market recognises us, this is that seat.

What you'll do

• Own Refold AI's visual identity end to end: the brand system, typography, color, iconography, and the templates that keep everything consistent.
• Turn our story into visuals anyone gets: the homepage, pitch and sales decks, one-pagers, and launch campaigns that make a complex product feel simple and exciting.
• Build visibility across every channel: LinkedIn, blog, product, events, ads, and docs, shipping a steady drumbeat of on-brand assets.
• Design the investor and sales collateral that has to land in high-stakes rooms.
• Build reusable design systems so the whole team ships on-brand without you in the loop.
• Partner closely with founders, marketing, and product to bring campaigns and launches to life fast.

What we're looking for

• A storyteller first: you think in narrative, not just aesthetics, and you make complex ideas feel simple and worth caring about.
• Real range: brand identity, web and landing pages, decks, and social, with motion or GIFs a strong plus.
• Founding-caliber ownership: you set the visual bar and build the system from zero, with no playbook and no one telling you what to make next.
• A portfolio that proves it, ideally from an early-stage startup or a brand-led company, and comfort shipping daily. Experience band is flexible if the work is exceptional.

Bonus points

• Motion and animation chops, deep Figma mastery, or a bit of no-code/front-end sensibility.
• You have branded a technical or B2B product and made it feel human.
• You use AI tools to produce more, faster.
