Digital Marketing Expert

Are you a tech-savvy, detail-oriented marketing professional ready to make a significant impact in the digital marketing system of our key client?

We're looking for a DIGITAL MARKETING EXPERT to be the technical backbone of our client's marketing operations across Europe.

We are seeking a digital tools expert for our client, a direct sales company with an American background, who can perform their duties across borders.

In this position, you will work closely with the Italian European marketing leader, the US-based digital marketing hub practicing best practices, and the IT and marketing teams.

As noted, there is already a similar function in the US, but this is a completely new position within the company for Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure seamless integration between platforms supporting marketing initiatives
• Technical implementation of campaigns: Setup, test, and deploy email journeys, SMS sequences, landing pages, and other digital assets
• Ensure websites (all local websites would be in the loop) and internal system integrity: Regular audits, data accuracy, content updates, and performance optimization
• Verify links, data capture, and content display across devices and platforms
• Translate campaign requirements into technical specifications
• Resolve technical issues across digital marketing platforms
• Maintain documentation for processes and system configurations
• Platform Migration and Integration: Adopt new marketing technologies and enhance existing systems
• Ensure adherence to European data protection regulations (GDPR, ePrivacy)
• Identify opportunities for optimization and improved efficiency
• Provide technical training on digital platforms and tools

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in marketing technology or digital operations
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Proficient in English (knowledge of a second foreign language is an advantage)
• Proven experience with marketing automation platforms, CMS systems, email marketing tools, and CRM solutions
• Experience with digital compliance in European markets
• Collaboration with marketing teams to implement campaigns and troubleshoot issues
• Experience in a multinational environment
• Experience with QA processes, systems documentation, and technology migration projects
