This is a hands-on, high-impact role where youāll design and build new products, automate workflows, modernize legacy systems, and work on real-world healthcare interoperability problemsānot toy demos or throwaway POCs.
If you enjoy solving complex integration challenges, shaping architecture, and using AI coding tools daily to accelerate delivery, this is the team to join.
š What Youāll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using FHIR, REST, and interoperability standards
- Build workflows supporting Release of Information (ROI): identity matching, record discovery, retrieval, normalization, and delivery
- Integrate with EHR vendors and HIEs using FHIR, RESTful APIs, event-driven patterns
- Modernize legacy integrations and drive transformation of the core platform
- Own technical roadmaps for interoperability components
- Use AI coding tools (Copilot, JetBrains AI, etc.) for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and faster iteration
- Lead code reviews and influence engineering standards
- Debug issues across distributed systems and complex third-party integrations
- Collaborate across Product, Ops, Engineering, and Compliance
- Proactively identify risks related to data quality, system dependencies, or interoperability constraints
š What You Bring
- Strong Microsoft stack expertise: C#, .NET Framework / .NET 6+, Web API, MVC, EF, SQL Server
- Experience designing & operating API-driven, distributed systems in production
- Direct FHIR integration experience (resources, profiles, implementation guides)
