🚀 Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLM) to join our remote team on a contract basis. This role involves building intelligent ML pipelines, training models, and exploring cutting-edge areas like RAG (Retrieve and Generate), recommendation engines, and network science.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• 🧹 Develop ML pipelines for data cleaning using existing cleaned datasets.
• 🏷️ Train models to recognize products based on textual descriptions.
• 🔄 Focus on RAG and explore advanced domains like recommendation systems, network science, and more.
• 📊 Collaborate on dashboard development using Power BI or Google Looker.
• 🧪 Build, deploy, and operate machine learning pipelines across production environments.
• 🌐 Work with large, distributed datasets to extract actionable insights.
• 📈 Leverage data storytelling to communicate findings effectively across teams.
• 🤝 Participate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to program management.

🧠 Technical Competencies

• 🎯 Expertise in ML methods:

• Recommendation Systems

• Supervised Learning & Feature Engineering

• Time Series & Forecasting

• Clustering

• 🧬 Strong background in network science and feature engineering.

• 💻 Proficiency in Python, R, or Scala.

• 🧠 Experience with ML frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and at least one Deep Learning framework.

• ☁️ Familiarity with Cloud AI/ML tools (preferably GCP).

• 📊 Experience with Power BI or Google Looker for visualization.

• 🔍 Skilled in data mining, predictive modeling, and working with unstructured data.

• 🧠 Knowledge of NLP and image processing is a plus.

• 🧩 Ability to overlay multiple datasets and scale insights.
