About this role

We are looking for a Software Engineer, Platform with 3-8 years of experience to build and operate the infrastructure that powers compliance at scale, as we are in an intense hiring phase and need to double the team in the next eight weeks. This person will be a generalist backend engineer who can contribute across different flavors of backend development, focusing on impact and thriving in an early-stage startup environment.

What will you be doing?

• Building APIs and services to handle thousands of concurrent requests.
• Architecting ingestion → assessment → delivery pipelines for cases.
• Implementing Temporal workflows for long-running, stateful processes.
• Designing and optimizing PostgreSQL schemas and queries for compliance workflows.
• Owning CI/CD, deployments, infrastructure-as-code, and driving observability.

Job Details:

• YOE: 3 - 8 years of experience in backend software engineering, with focus on Python or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Salary: $168K - $213K + Competitive equity
• Visa: Transfer visas are standard. Full sponsorship can be discussed for exceptional candidates.
• Location: Hybrid on 2nd and Howard in San Francisco.
