Salary: $163,600 – $226,400 base + Bonus + Equity

Company Description

We’re representing a leading AI-powered lending platform that partners with financial institutions to expand access to affordable credit. By combining machine learning with digital-first loan servicing, the company delivers a faster, more inclusive lending experience while improving risk outcomes for banks and credit unions.

This role sits on the Servicing Engineering team, responsible for building the next-generation loan servicing platform. The focus is on streamlining loan management, automating workflows, and creating a seamless borrower and internal stakeholder experience.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Software Engineer, Servicing, you will:

• Lead cross-team, multi-engineer projects with multi-quarter timelines.
• Drive both existing and greenfield projects forward with speed and end-user empathy.
• Expand your impact beyond immediate tasks — upleveling the codebase and overall tech platform.
• Collaborate closely with product, operations, and third-party partners to make decisions that influence what gets built as much as how it’s built.
• Mentor and coach engineers, contributing to a high-performance, growth-oriented team culture.

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong technical leadership experience, including code release, deployment orchestration, monitoring, logging, and alerting in a microservices environment.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver high-quality, timely work.
• Growth mindset and ability to incorporate feedback into work.
• Comfortable working independently as well as in highly collaborative settings.

Preferred

• Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails or Kotlin.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and fostering team growth.
• Strong sense of accountability and customer-first mindset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $163,600 – $226,400
