AI Software Engineer

Salary: €90,000 to €100,000 base salary + benefits + Fully Remote - Candidates must be based in Ireland.

Our client, an innovative SaaS organisation, is looking for an experienced AI Software Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-powered products.

You'll join a growing AI engineering team working on production LLM and Machine Learning solutions with the opportunity to shape scalable AI features used by customers worldwide. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building, coding and solving real-world problems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and deploy production LLM and NLP solutions.
• Develop scalable backend services in Python.
• Fine-tune and deploy Machine Learning models.
• Design AI-powered features using modern frameworks.
• Build reliable APIs and AWS-based solutions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams.
• Write clean, maintainable production code.

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)

• 3+ years' commercial Software Engineering experience - Strong coding, debugging and software engineering skills.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI, Machine Learning and NLP.
• Commercial experience working with LLMs.
• Experience with LangChain.
• Experience building, training or fine-tuning AI/ML models.
• Strong AWS experience.
• Experience with Terraform - AWS CDK.
• Experience delivering production AI solutions (not academic or personal projects).
• Ability to understand and explain AI-generated code.
