Hiring: The Founding Marketer
About The Role
We are looking for a T-shaped "Founding Marketer" to spearhead the transformation of our tech services firm into an AI-Native consultancy. This is not a role for a marketer who needs a large budget and a stable plan. We are seeking a proactive, self-directed leader with an owner's mentality who will single-handedly build and execute our new go-to-market strategy from the ground up.
Your primary mission is to solve our "category design" problem: shifting our brand perception from "Tech Staffing" to a new, high-value category like "AI Acceleration Partner". You will own the marketing funnel, drive our GTM success, and be the strategic voice that reports back on which bets are getting traction.
What You'll Do (The Mission):
- Run a Portfolio of Bets: Manage our service offerings like a venture capitalist. You will allocate effort to each bet, define what success looks like, and make data-informed recommendations on which to double down on and which to kill.
- Drive Demand via Rapid Experimentation: Think in terms of hypotheses and rapid tests. You will leverage a multi-channel approach to run experiments, measure lead quality, and learn from failed campaigns to quickly identify what works.
- Build Our Narrative Through Content: The currency of a consultancy is expertise, and you will prove ours through high-quality content. You will be an expert "interviewer," extracting deep knowledge from our technical team to create compelling case studies, whitepapers, and webinar scripts.
- Execute Multi-Channel Distribution: Ensure our content is seen by the right people. You must have hands-on skills in B2B channels like LinkedIn (organic and paid), targeted email marketing, and niche online communities.
- Own the Brand Transformation: Develop and manage campaigns that reposition our brand. This involves strategic thinking about our messaging pillars and competitive differentiation—not just logos and taglines.
- Represent the Brand: Organise and represent the company at industry conferences and networking events to strengthen our new brand positioning.

- Scrappy Experimenter / Growth Hacker: You have a history of starting from zero. You are comfortable with the fact that 8 out of 10 experiments may fail because you know how to find the two successes quickly.
- High Intellectual Horsepower & Rapid Learner: You are incredibly smart and curious, able to get up to speed on a complex B2B service in a week and understand a persona's pain points well enough to write credible copy.
- Owner's Mentality: You are a "one-person-show" who has driven projects from concept to completion with minimal oversight. You are not someone who says, "That's not my job".
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on B2B technology services or digital engineering.
- Experience in an early-stage startup or launching a new product line within a larger company is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of executing successful GTM strategies in the US/UK or other international markets.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in B2B Content Marketing and Demand Generation.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling marketing messages.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Apollo, Salesforce, 6sense).
- Open for flexible work timings as per target geographies.
