We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer Golang | Python (Remote) 🛡

to join an AI-native data security company building a platform where data itself becomes the new security perimeter. The platform operates at the intersection of distributed systems, data infrastructure, AI governance, and real-time security enforcement, requiring engineers comfortable moving between high-performance backend engineering in Golang and data / intelligence-oriented engineering in Python.

Skills:

🎯 Backend engineering experience with Golang and/or Python in production environments;

🎯 Building event-driven systems handling real-time, high-throughput workloads;

🎯 Concurrency, consistency models and performance trade-offs;

🎯 Streaming/event ecosystems;

🎯 Modern data platforms and analytical ecosystems (Snowflake, Databricks);

🎯 Working with APIs, metadata-driven architectures, asynchronous workflows, and data-centric platforms;

🎯 Operating in highly technical product environments where backend engineering intersects with data governance, security, and AI-native workflows;

Your Responsibilities:

✅ Build core backend platform services in Golang and Python, supporting the Data Operations Center and the real-time control plane responsible for data access governance and security enforcement;

✅ Design and maintain distributed event-driven architectures using Kafka/SQS, processing high-throughput, low-latency data access events with guarantees around concurrency, resiliency, and fault tolerance;

✅ Develop policy evaluation and enforcement services capable of making real-time security decisions;

✅ Integrate platform services with modern cloud data ecosystems such as Snowflake, Databricks, and related APIs / metadata layers;

✅ Build asynchronous backend workflows leveraging event streaming, messaging systems, APIs, and metadata-driven orchestration patterns across complex distributed environments;

✅ Collaborate with AI/ML and data engineering teams on Python-based platform capabilities related to intelligence, automation, metadata analysis, and data-centric decision workflows;

✅ Contribute to architectural decisions involving distributed systems design;
