We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to craft engaging, user-centered experiences. This role will focus on improving the journey of our couriers—designing solutions that optimize routes, income, and time management.

Main responsibilities: design and iterate high-fidelity interfaces and prototypes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct user research and usability testing, maintain design system consistency, and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements: 4+ years in high-performance design teams, strong expertise in web, interaction, visual, and information design, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, self-driven, fluent in Spanish with basic English proficiency.

Global position across the Americas, remote work available.

Role Context

As a Senior Product Designer at Rappi, you will focus on designing engaging and intuitive experiences relying on user-centered design methods. This role involves identifying user needs, conceptualizing design solutions, and executing high-fidelity prototypes and final deliverables. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and implement design concepts that meet business and user objectives.

You will be dedicated to improving the experiences of our couriers—the vital partners who execute deliveries on our platform. Couriers face unique challenges such as route optimization, income stability, and effective time management. Your role will be to design intuitive and empowering solutions that enhance their daily operations and overall job satisfaction and quality, creating strong career opportunities for this important user.

Responsibilities

Design and iterate on user interfaces and experiences on different devices, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver a high standard of user-centric design.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, and design seamless user experiences.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process.
Participate in user research and usability testing, integrating user feedback into design improvements.
Support the maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency across all user touchpoints.
Advocate for the prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
Contribute to the culture of innovation and continuous learning within the design team.

Key Competencies

Solid experience in Web design.
Solid skills in interaction design, visual design, information architecture, and systems thinking.
Solid communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and collaborating effectively across teams.
Proficient in discovery and prototyping, with a proven ability to lead solution development.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience working in high-performance design teams at scale
Experience working on complex projects, cross-functional, that impact more than one squad or require collaboration between different disciplines and teams.
Self-motivated and capable of independently driving projects forward with minimal direction
Effective stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Spanish and basic English conversation
This is a global position in the Americas with the possibility of working remotely.
