Position Summary:
Our partner, an international digital solutions provider focused on custom software development and digital transformation, is growing fast. With that growth comes more opportunities than the current sales team can handle on their own. They are looking for a Client Solutions Engagement Analyst to lead the first phase of the client journey. You’ll step into early conversations once a lead is qualified, sit shoulder-to-shoulder with clients, and help them make sense of what they really need. You’ll ask sharp questions, challenge assumptions, map out business problems, and shape solutions in partnership with a Tech Lead, a UX designer, and QA. Then you’ll package it all into a project proposal that makes sense to everyone, especially the client. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, empathy to conversations, and clarity to the teams around you.
Experience and Education:
- Experience in consulting or custom software delivery environments.
- Proven background supporting pre-sales, scoping, or discovery phases.
- Strong history of working with cross-functional teams (Tech Lead, UX, QA).
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices, and common delivery risks.
- Experience in mid-sized or growth-stage tech firms.
- Background collaborating with stakeholders across business and tech.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Lead client discovery and whiteboard sessions alongside a Tech Lead.
- Translate ambiguous client needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Build a strong rapport with business and technical stakeholders.
- Own the creation of proposals, timelines, and solution outlines.
- Collaborate with Sales, UX, QA, and Engineering on scoping.
- Identify constraints, risks, and edge cases early in the conversation.
- Break down solutions into project phases and feature groupings.
- Document deliverables: process flows, vision docs, feature sets.
- Validate requirements with internal teams before client delivery.
- Present project proposals with clarity, confidence, and empathy.
- Facilitate handoffs to delivery teams after proposal acceptance.
- Adapt quickly to changes in client needs or scope expectations.
- Influence pre-sales process improvements with insight and initiative.
- Maintain high EQ in stakeholder conversations, especially with executives.
- Contribute to shaping how we scope and sell projects at the company.
