Job Opportunity: Marketing Communications Specialist (Neurology Field Sales & Digital)

Position: Marketing Communications Specialist

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $80.00 – $92.00 / hour

Contract Type: Contract - 6 months

About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing, autonomous Marketing Communications Specialist to drive the final stage development, execution, and field roll-out of critical promotional and digital materials for our Neurology sales team.

In this role, you will act as a pivotal bridge between creative agencies, digital vendors, and our internal field teams. From managing high-visibility congress assets and website updates to spearheading speaker bureau readiness and ensuring seamless Veeva CLM deployment, you will ensure our neurology portfolio—specifically centered around Neuraceq—is primed for commercial success.

Key Responsibilites

  • Field Sales Materials & Engagement: Collaborate with creative agencies on the final stages of development, execution, and rollout of high-priority promotional materials (e.g., Quick Reference Guides, Trifold Banners, Reader Reference Cards).
  • Veeva CLM & PromoMats Management: Partner with Marketing Operations to set up, test, and validate digital/print assets in Veeva CLM. Coordinate the rollout of Rep-Triggered Emails to the sales force in partnership with Deerfield Group (DFG).
  • Digital & Website Operations: Support ongoing updates for Neuraceq.com and potentially oversee the final completion of the full website update in partnership with FingerPaint and Hexaware.
  • 2027 Strategic Planning:Lead marketing content and session planning for the 2027 Field National Meeting (FNM).Drive the creative strategy and booth planning for priority 2027 congresses (AAN, SNMMI, AAIC), kicking off in late Q3/early Q4.
  • Speaker Program / Bureau: Advance early preparation activities for the 2027 speaker program, including identifying qualified speakers with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and initiating content/deck development
  • Compliance & Operational Excellence: Lead PRC routing, perform strict quality checks (QC) within Veeva PromoMats, manage neurology field team inquiries, and handle core operational tasks like invoice tracking and budget management.

Core Qualifications (Required)

  • End-to-End Material Development: Proven experience driving promotional and educational material development for life sciences field sales teams from concept through execution.
  • Veeva Expertise: Hands-on experience with Veeva PromoMats and Veeva CLM, including metadata setup, multichannel workflows, sandbox testing, and iPad validation workflows.
  • Regulated Environment Mastery: Strong understanding of compliance considerations and deep experience navigating the PRC/MLR approval process in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Agency & Vendor Collaboration: Proven ability to manage creative, digital, and MedEd/MedCom agencies (experience with FingerPaint, Hexaware, or DFG is a major plus).
  • Speaker Bureau & Event Strategy: Experience leading speaker bureau development, content creation for speaker decks, and large-scale congress booth stratwgy.
  • Autonomy: A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple complex project timelines simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop) to support light content edits or ease agency collaboration.
  • Experience handling budget tracking, contract management, SOWs, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with digital asset tracking and reporting across PromoMats, CLM, and internal trackers.
