We are entering our second growth phase and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead development projects based on technical leadership.
We expect you to drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, design and implement robust software solutions, and optimize system performance and scalability.
This position will play a key role in shaping our technical direction and delivering high quality software, and we look forward to hearing from applicants who can take on challenging projects and make a significant impact.
■Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to a multinational and primarily full remote engineering team to design new features and enhance existing features.
- Advise the leadership team on key technology and product roadmap considerations
- Work with the product team to prioritize roadmap initiatives and be involved in the product ideation process
- Continually drive our engineering standards (code reuse, documentation, testing, etc.) and levels of service forward
- Take high-level business requirements and develop the technical details behind them
- Uphold high standards for engineering and product quality and mentor team members to do the same
- Technical mentor to the growing engineering team

【求められる経験・スキル / Required Experience And Skills】
■Required
- Business-level English
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, 3+ years of technical leadership experience
- Proven experience as a team lead or similar leadership role
- Excellent communication skills to lead teams and interact with stakeholders
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational database
- Familiarity with container technology
- Comfortable picking up new technologies
■Welcome
- Experience as a Staff Engineer or similar leadership role
- Conversational-level Japanese
- Experience working at a Seed or Series-A startup
- Experience working with an Agile Development Team
- Experience using modern tools for Test Case Management
- Experience with Elixir or Ruby
