Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong cybersecurity focus to support a high- impact Zero Trust program with a large financial services client. This role will lead delivery across multiple security workstreams, partnering closely with security, infrastructure, and business teams to drive successful implementation and tracking of Zero Trust initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a blend of Agile project leadership, security domain experience, and strong stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects, supporting a broader Zero Trust program
Drive execution across key workstreams, including tracking implementation progress, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment across teams
Apply Agile methodologies within a SAFe environment, ensuring alignment to established frameworks and best practices
Partner with security, IT, and business stakeholders to define requirements, manage priorities, and resolve risks/issues
Drive project planning, execution, and delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and communications
Provide regular status updates to leadership, including progress, risks, dependencies, and key milestones
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement)
Support backlog development and prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners
Manage cross-functional teams, including remote resources and external vendors
Identify and mitigate risks across technical, operational, and organizational areas
Ensure project documentation, governance, and compliance standards are met
Monitor vendor performance and ensure delivery meets contractual expectations
Required Qualifications
5–8+ years of Project Management experience in enterprise IT environments
Proven experience delivering cybersecurity, infrastructure, or GRC/compliance-related initiatives
Exposure to or involvement in Zero Trust programs or security transformation initiatives
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including SAFe and Scrum
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and leading cross-functional Agile teams
Experience working with distributed/remote teams
Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication
Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, complex environments
Experience with Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments
Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-207)
