Raiqa Health is an AI-powered health platform serving Australia. Our product spans voice-AI, clinician dashboards and patient apps—built in React, MUI, Tailwind & shadcn/ui. We need a designer who lives and breathes component systems and can ship pixel-perfect experiences at startup speed.

💡 What you’ll do

Own the design system – audit, refactor and extend our MUI + shadcn token set (colour, type, spacing, elevation, motion).
Model components in Figma – variants, auto-layout, variables, modes; hook them to design-tokens plugins for one-click theme updates.
Partner with engineering – write spec docs, map props to variants, demo edge-cases; sit in PR reviews to keep build quality high.
Craft end-to-end flows – from low-fi journey maps to high-fi prototypes that devs can copy-paste spacing from.
Run fast UX loops – usability tests, analytics dives, heuristic reviews; iterate in 24-hour sprints.
Champion accessibility – WCAG 2.1 AA colour contrast, focus states, screen-reader flow.

✔️ You’ll ace the role if you have

4–7 yrs product-design experience; at least 2 yrs owning a complex design system.
Mastery of Figma (nested variants, component properties, token plugins).
Real-world integration with Material-UI (v5+) and/or shadcn/ui + Tailwind—theming, slot overrides, custom atoms.
Strong UX toolkit: user journeys, JTBD, A/B reads, rapid moderated tests.
Fluent hand-off—Zeplin/Storybook, dev notes, GitHub comments.
Startup velocity: comfortable shipping multiple features in a week and polishing in prod.

Bonus points

Can drop into React / TypeScript to tweak storybook stories or Lottie hooks.
Healthcare or other regulated-industry projects.
